Speed back on Track for 2011 Season

Welcome to the Carolina Speed web page!!  My name is Eddie Littlefield and I am happy to announce that Carolina Speed Arena Football is back!!  After sitting out the 2010 season your Speed will be in action at Bojangles Coliseum for the 2011 season. I want to thank all of the fine folks at the arena and the City of Charlotte for their help and support. I am very excited to bring this wonderful sporting event back to the city and I hope you all will attend the games and support the Carolina Speed!!

The Carolina Speed will be holding their first of three player tryouts on Saturday December 4th, 2010. The tryouts will begin with registration starting at 8:00 am and workouts will begin at 9:00 am.  Participants must be at least 18 years of age. The tryout is for all positions including kickers. There is a $50 registration fee (cash or money order) on the day of the tryout. Players wanting to submit game films can bring them to the tryout, all game films submitted become the property of the Carolina Speed. Participants can pre-register for $40 by downloading the REGISTRATION FORM and emailing it to jbowman@aifaprofootball.com and then mailing the payment to:

ATTIRE:
Field is an artificial turf field and the tryout will be on an indoor field, (t-shirts, shorts and/or sweats). No metal cleats, small rubber turf cleats or sneakers only. Please wear light colored or white tops with dark bottoms.

RESTRATION: 8:00 am to 9:00 am

TRYOUT START TIME: 9:00 am  

COST: $50.00 day of tryout Cash/Money Order, $40 pre-registration
